I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Janie. I worked with her years ago at the Jackson Housing Commission. I really enjoyed working with her. I remember her to be a pleasant, kind, funny, woman of God. I remember the fundraisers she did for her church---those bbq rib dinners were the best! Janie was just a nice person and I will cherish memories of her. May God comfort her loved ones at this difficult time. RIP dear Janie.
Janie and I enjoyed many years of shopping and lunches. She took me under her wing and mentored me professionally and personally. We shared our hopes and dreams over our 56 year friendship. I will miss her dearly.
