Frank Hampton Jr, age 87, Pastor of the Church of God, 140 W. South Street Jackson, Michigan transitioned from this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Pastor Hampton was a proper child, a man who loved winning souls, and the preacher's pastor. He served in the US Marine Corp in 1950, was a Master Barber and Pastored for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two siblings, and his wife of 55 years Beatrice with whom their 11 children were born Lyle (Stacey), Frank III (Cherise), Marsena Covington, LaDonna Lewis, Basil (Mia), Annita , Camilla (Maurice) Burton, Beatrice, Haywood (Cheri), Quentin (Diane), Lee (Melinda). His late wife Margaret of 6 years also preceded him in death. Pastor Hampton has 40 grandchildren of which 2 preceded him in death and 23 great grandchildren.
