William Henry Talbert II's Obituary
William Henry Talbert II of Jackson Michigan was born on April 23, 1935 in Gould, Arkansas on a plantation. Henry was baptized in Sheirill, Arkansas at the Sunrise Baptist Church.
On October 17, 2022 he departed from this life while in Hospice at the Faith Haven Care Facility in Jackson with his loving family by his side. Before his transition his daughter Zipporah prayed for him and his daughter Michele reading Psalms 23.
Henry, as he was known to family and friends worked at various jobs. Auto Inn was one of those jobs where he was known for his unique talent in cleaning engines so clean they looked new. Henry was so good at this until his boss John Neilson refused to give him a good reference when Henry tried to get a job with Ford Motor Company. Ford lost out, but Clark Equipment was hiring, and without using John Neilson as a reference he was hired. He worked at Clark Equipment until he retired in 1978.
On July 5, 1959 he married Bettie Talbert; this union brought forth five children, Rodney Leon, Verla Joy Cotton, William Henry III, Zipporah, and Michele Denise (Howard) Williams.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Talbert I and Bessie Talbert, sisters; Bessie Hudson, Aggie Lee Robinson, Anna Tinsey, John West, Caldonia Rogers and Martha Talbert,
He leaves to morn his children; Rodney Leon, Verla Cotton, William H. Talbert III, Zipporah Talbert and Michele D. (Howard) Williams, grandchildren; Romain Talbert of Ann Arbor Michigan, Asana and Howard Williams (twins) of Belleville Michigan, and a host of nieces and nephews, also his two remaining sisters; Mary Pree and Gertrude Davis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Additionally, he leaves behind his special friend Pauline Ross and her children. Ms. Ross has been by his side for many years.
