Tyrone Flournoy's Obituary
Tyrone Flournoy went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 9, 2019 under the loving care of his family; his sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Carey Torrey and Billy R. Smith. Tyrone was born on June 23, 1969 in Jackson, Michigan. He was the son of the late Isaac and Edith Flournoy. He was the youngest of 15 children and had one daughter, Tylisha Treadway. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Edith Flournoy, two brothers; Neil Parker and Isaac Lee Flournoy, two sisters; Mary Helen Williamson and Carol Ann Travis. Tyrone graduated from Jackson High School and worked at Certainteed Corporation for seventeen years. He was a true sports fan. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers, Michigan Wolverines, and Detroit Tigers. We knew when the Pittsburgh Steelers would play; he wanted silence so he could cheer for his favorite team. And the clap of his hands was loud (Lol). Whenever the Michigan Wolverines would play Tyrone and Mylo would exchange comments until the games were over (Lol). And let's not forget his best buddy, his dog Kobe Flournoy. He leaves us to cherish his memories, his only child; Tylisha Treadway, his four grandchildren; Andrew, Johlil, Tyrone, and Jalia, ten siblings; William (Barbara) Flournoy, Brenda ( Lecester) Reese, Linda (Carey) Torrey, Gloria Hester, Anthony Flournoy, Mary Flournoy, Bruce Flournoy, Ricky (Vernetta) Flournoy, Dinah Hill, Valerie Landrum, and Misty Hill, and a host of nieces and nephews, a very special cousin; Mylo Stidham (OOO), special friend; Lori(Ravin) Treadway, and TJ Stephens. All will miss him dearly, he was loved by many.
