Rozetta McGhee's Obituary
Rozetta (Zett) McGhee was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 19, 1943, to the late Roscoe and Ardella McGhee. She was called home on October 27, 2024.
In 1945, her family moved to Jackson, Michigan, where she remained. Zett worked for and retired from Kelsey Hayes after 32 years of employment.
She was a faithful member of the ministry of the First Church of God in Christ of Jackson and served in
every capacity the church offered as unto the Lord. Her dedication to the weekly noon day prayer served as a constant reminder of her love for the Lord and the people of God. While soft spoken and of few words, her presence and labor will speak volumes and testify to her service to the body of Christ
Rozetta was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe & Ardella McGhee. Zett leaves to cherish her memories: Son Larcel;
Daughter-in-law, Karla McGhee; and two grandsons, Kasen and Khayri McGhee, all of Trinidad & Tobago. Two sisters, Elnora Reddick and Ruby (Tony) Heard, all of Jackson, MI, and one brother, Horace Moten of Milwaukee, WI, and several nieces and nephews. Several significant close friends Ethel (Bart) Moss, Liz Walton, Margie Thomas, Ruthie Walker)
