Rose Nell Thomas' Obituary
Rose Nell Thomas~Coffie was a truly unique individual who will be missed forever. Rose was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who went home to be with the Creator on July 21, 2021.
Rose, better known as Ro-Nell, was born on August 6th, 1954 to Nathaniel and Marie Coffie in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Rose was the fifth child of nine brothers and sisters. She worked as a nurses aid, correction officer and as a full time babysitter.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her son; Anthony Coffie (Kendra Hunt) and daughter; Constance Brown (Warner Crider), eight grandchildren; Keyanna Rodriguez (Trent), Krystan Coffie, Anthony Coffie, Warnaja Crider, Karena Coffie, Haili Thornton, Samaria Thornton, Cadieux Crider, two great grandchildren; Chosen Crider LaGrande and Zamiar Jonhson.
She is also survived by three sisters; Janice (Thomas) Waranek, Patty Ryan, and Nadine (Terry) Gardenhire, and two brothers; Rosevelt, Jr. and Tommie (Dorthy) Wallace, many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a host of dear friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her father; Nathaniel Coffie, mother; Marie Wallace, step-father; Rosevelt Wallace, brother; Micheal Coffie (2nd of nine), sisters; Yvonee Wallace (7th of nine), and Vickey Wallce (9th of nine) and nephew; Darryl Fairley.
