Ronald Demetrius Owens' Obituary
Ronald Demetrius Owens was born on October 9, 1985, to Jennifer Johnson (Tonie Galloway) and Ronald Owens (Nevada Owens) in Jackson, Michigan. Demetrius was known as Meech to loving family members and friends, and an attentive father.
Meech attended Jackson Public Schools and gave his life to God at an early age.
Meech was always willing to give a helping hand and took pride in being a son, a brother, a grandson, a cousin, and a friend.
Meech departed this life in the arms of his loving mother and joined his heavenly father on October 27, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; George Johnson and Robert Owens, and great-aunts; Maggie Johnson, Laura Banks, and Sarah Scott.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters; A’vyonna and A’lonna Owens, two sons; Jove’a and J’Kobi Owens, his mother; Jennifer Johnson (Tonie Galloway), his father; Ronald Owens (Nevada), sisters; Shanika Galloway and Selena Owens, brothers; Domonique Galloway and Alex Owens, special aunts; Ruth Edwards (Patrick), and Barbara Johnson.
Also to cherish his memory are his grandmothers; Minnie Johnson and Ruth Owens; special cousins, Sharlanda, Shy’neka, Shy’qurrius Johnson, Wesley Diamond, Davon Edwards and Tyshaun Arrington, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There was no goodbye with Meech, simply the words
“In A Minute Baby......”.
