Robert Lee Brownlee's Obituary
Robert Lee Brownlee affectionately known as “Jimmy” was born September 22, 1946 inJackson, Georgia. He was the only child born to the late Beatrice Brownlee and Horace Thomas.Jimmy accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Jackson, Georgia. He waspresently a member of Indiana Church of God in Christ and was baptized by Pastor Lester T. Evans.Jimmy was educated in the Jackson Public School system and worked for Chrysler Motor Company for34 years until his retirement. Jimmy loved Southern Living and loved fishing and gardening. He was an amazing husband, father,grandfather and great grandfather. He loved taking his family on vacations. His last trip was to HolyConvocation in St. Louis, Missouri with his loving family. On January 3, 2020, God called Jimmy home. He was proceeded in death by both of his parents, hisgrandmother; Alberta Brownlee and three sister-in-laws; Wanda Neal, Bernadette Hall and Tanya Allen.He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 54 years; Sandra L. Brownlee, three daughters; AndreaMotley (Vincent), Monique Harris (Dwight) and Tomika Timmons (Dock), seven grandchildren; Iyana(Sam), Gabriel, III (Arkela), Alexis, Vincent, II (Shlondra), Mariah (Tameron), Tamera and Devin, eightgreat grandchildren, one brother; Horace S. Thomas, six sister-in-laws; Jeanette Chatman, Cleo Pledger,Karen Simpson, Susan Allen, Shira Dunson and Synevia Hall, four brother-in-laws; Eddie Hall, Jr.,Frederick Chatman, Jerome Pledger and Lance Dunson, one honorary brother; Anthony Price, and a hostof nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends and a loving church family.
