Rita May Mason's Obituary
Rita May Mason of Jackson, MI passed away August 24, 2024 at the age of 89 at the Vista Grande Villa, while under the care of hospice. She was born May 28, 1935 in Wyandotte, MI to Clyde and Mary Greashaber, they preceded her in death also her brother Don Greashaber, sister, Virginia Fitzpatrick and her loving husband Ronald Mason.
Rita was a graduate of Our Lady of Lords High School and attended Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Jackson. She had many interests among them were sewing, cooking, reading, traveling, quilting, spending time at the lake, and caring for her husband, family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Janis)Mason, Rebecca (Robyn) Buckley, Malinda (Tim) Pelham, Dean Mason, Mike (Lori) Mason, Rick (Penni) Mason, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will be holding a private celebration of her life service.
