Renee Suzanne Fells' Obituary
Renee Suzan Fells, daughter of the late Josie Lee McCombs and Joseph Roy Fells, was born November 9, 1960 in Chicago Illinois. Although she lived in Chicago for many years, Renee resided in Jackson, Michigan until the Lord called her home on February 6, 2021.
After moving to Jackson, Michigan in 1999, Renee later became a member of Christ Kingdom Ministries where she enjoyed volunteering. She was blessed with a multitude of family and friends who loved her dearly. All who had the pleasure of knowing Renee could feel her heart through her countless displays of support and love. Renee enjoyed music, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her family. Renee was a mother and grandmother, but also a sister, a friend, and a confidant.
She leaves behind a brother; Charles Fells (Sonya), a daughter; Latonya Fells, three sons; Kevin Lynch, Kenneth Lynch, and Phillip Fells, five grandchildren; Traynesha Fells, Quentasia Fells, Martez Haywood, Jamahl Armstrong, and Jameya Fells, a great grandson; Hendrix Scott Richardson, and a host of nieces, nephews. She also leaves to cherish her memory the special family members that she was very close to, her niece; Constance Porter, and her cousin; Tina Fells.
Renee is preceded in death by her parents; Josie McCombs and Roy Fells, two brothers; Belvin Fells and Edward Fells, three sisters; Katherine Fells, Carolyn Fells, and Patricia Orr, her son; Jedidiah Fells, a very close nephew; Paul Porter, and super close cousin/best friend; Edwina Fells.
To all of her loved ones, please do not cry for Renee because she has gone to be with the Lord. In life, she always made the best of every situation and remained positive. Renee’s desire is for everyone to stay strong and get closer to the Lord so that we all may meet with her again…
