Reginald Paul Wyatt's Obituary
Reginald Paul Wyatt was born on August 15, 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He became the loving son to the late Rev. Dr. Lawrence and Artelia Wyatt who both preceded him in death. Reginald and his family moved to Detroit, Michigan when he 6 years old when his father became the pastor of Southwestern Church of God. He enjoyed going to church and going to the West Middlesex church convention in Pennsylvania. He loved his church family. “Paul”, as some would call him remained a member until his passing.
He attended Emerson Elementary School where he met lifelong friends that became more like family members to this day. He went on to Temple Christian High School and Henry Ford Community College.
Reggie shared his life with his fiancé, Ronda of 23 years, and they enjoyed each other as well as spending time with family and close friends near and far. He helped raise her children and spent a lot of time with the grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was a kind, caring, and giving “Gentle Giant”. The children, nieces and nephews loved their “Uncle Reggie”. He always filled them with knowledge and was always encouraging them spiritually. He was constantly telling them how proud he was of them.
He worked in security and later in life changed careers and began working for Lincoln Services for over 16 years until his untimely illness and death.
Reginald Paul Wyatt was a devoted and dedicated Mason. He served as Past Worshipful Master of Antonio P. Washington Sr. Lodge #7 working under Mt. Moriah Grand Lodge.
In addition, he also enjoyed spending time with his life-long brother and sister friends and going to the range. They always enjoyed spending time with Reggie and Ronda and knew that they were ‘Foodies’ and loved any and all things food. You could always count on them to know where all the great food was located.
He is survived by his loving and caring fiancé Ronda Gaiter, four children that he helped raise and called his own; Blake, Deon, Farod (Alicia), and Ayana, eleven grandchildren he called his own, his extended family; Willie Rayford (Marsha), Celeste Wilson (Steve), Darius Thomas, and Lewis all from Anderson, Indiana, and John, four god children and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
