Regina Nettie-Rose Jackson's Obituary
Regina Nettie-Rose Jackson was born March 6, 1923 in Acworth, Georgia, to the union of the late James Johnson and Nettie Johnson. Regina had two sisters who preceded her in death; Catherine Johnson (Ed) and Irene Bedford (William). Regina had a peaceful transition on December 11, 2020. Regina grew up in Marietta Georgia, where she attended Lemon Street High school. Regina was baptized at an early age and became a member of Turner Chapel AME Church located in Marietta Georgia. Regina and her husband Alexander, Sr. then relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where three children were born to the family, Robert, and twins; Eileen and Elaine Jackson.
After relocating to Detroit Michigan, the family joined Community A.M.E Church, located in Ecorse, Michigan under the pastorate of the late Reverend Ennis Cook. Regina was a long standing and devoted member, and served as a Steward, Usher, Choir Member and Missionary.
She was employed by Brother Rice High School System in Birmingham Michigan. Regina is a person that loved the Lord, and always kept things at 100% never biting her tongue.
