Pearlean Taylor's Obituary
Pearlean Taylor age 65 departed this life November 18, 2018 while battling pancreatic cancer. She was born July 22, 1953, to the parents of Pauline Wilson/Wells and Boston Lee Taylor. She was preceded in death by her paternal mother, father, grandparents, aunt, brother and grandson. She attended and graduated from Parkside High. She then went to Jackson Community College and U of M where she received her Associates in Liberal Arts and Bachelors in Business. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, watching television and reading. Pearlean traveled the world and has a record at Parkside in track that has yet to be broken. Pearlean worked as a social worker at DHS, in Food Service for the Jackson Public Schools, Jamma Interfaith Shelter and babysat for her kids. Pearlean was a part of the community and was always known as the Mayor. She helped start the bus service for the Southside of Jackson to get to Parkside. She is survived by her three daughters; Andrea, Yalonda and Nicole, her only son; Boston Lee Taylor II, her grandchildren; Mikela, Eulacia, Robert, Eulonday, LaChell, Eleigha, Draya, Prince and Davantain, one brother; Leon Taylor, one nephew; Robert Taylor and a niece; Natica Ashley, god-daughters; LaSaadia (Coco) and two uncles; Curtis and Arthur, and special friends; Debbi Bennett, Cheri Williams, Maxine, Will (Chicken) Ricky, Anita (Cookie) Jean Jenkins and Barbara Hodges and she loved her dogs Baby and Chain-Chain.
