Paul Duane Moore Sr's Obituary
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Paul Duane Moore Sr. answered a call from the Lord. A loving son was born on April 2, 1971, to Wilma Jean Moore and Paul Johnathan Turner in Jackson, MI. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; William C Moore Sr, Willie Mae Dunlap, Rev David and Allie Harris, and Earnestine Turner, Stepfather David Givens Sr, Aunt Kay, Uncle (P) Pearlie, and Great Nephew Lamar Jr.
Duane was lovingly known by many, and he had his favorite sayings like; what up black man, YIKE-YIKE and Be Blessed” which he used during his life’s span. His earlier education was received from the Northwest School District followed by graduating from Jackson High School. He held several jobs that he worked but he finally settled down working at CMO for many years.
Wherever he went he shared his love, kindness and generosity with all those that met him. Always smiling and laughing no matter what he was going through in his life.
Duane was very creative and multi-talented, in his younger years he mentored youth in gangs to stop the violence, he formed rap groups, he was a club promoter and Founder of Ace Tre Productions. He was always working on different projects whether it was his love for cooking and creating new dishes like his enjoyable ribs, or designing and redesigning jewelry, clothes, purses, shoes as well as fish tanks.
Out of all the things in his life his most precious thing was his love for his family and the time that he spent with each one. A family is more than blood, a family is those that care and are there through thick and thin.
