Paul Lewis' Obituary
Paul was the eighth child and youngest son born into the union of Virgia Mae and Leroy Lewis, Sr. on February 3, 1959.
Paul attended the Detroit Public Schools system, where he graduated from Martin Luther King High School in June 1976. In high school, he ran track and field. An avid sportsman, he ran the After School Basketball program at his former childhood school, Berry Elementary School. He enrolled our mother in the local bowling leagues, wherein competition, he, and our mother, were honored with several trophies.
Paul worked at the Detroit Medical Center, formerly the Detroit Receiving Hospital, for thirty-five years and in September 2012, he officially retired.
Paul is survived by his siblings; Ted, Pamela, Daniel, Nancy, and Vicky, his nieces and nephews; Carla, Dana, Natalie, Dylan, Delilah, Shanta, Tyler, and DJ, a godson; Marcus, and a host of friends.
