Olivia Ann Pitts' Obituary
Olivia Ann Pitts was born November 9, 1946 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She moved to Jackson, Michigan as a young girl with her Mom and siblings Loretta Burton, Robert Burton, and George and Bobby Burton.
Olivia graduated from Parkside High School in 1957. After marrying Charles G. Pitts she had two children; Todd and Marnette.
Olivia worked at the Michigan Department of Corrections for many years until she became ill. Olivia enjoyed cooking and listening to music and spending time with family.
Olivia leaves behind one daughter; Marnette Pitts Sumner, one son; Todd Douglas Pitts, two sisters; Loretta Burton and Elizabeth Hodge (Jomo), one brother; Robert L. Burton (Lorean), five granddaughters; ShiAndrea Pitts, LaPortia Pitts, TaQuesha Pitts, Briatia Sumner, and Mocarra Ortiz, and two grandsons; Joseph Thorton and Ryan Sumner and eleven great-grandchildren.
Olivia was preceded in death by parents; Mary Turner and Lawrence Jeffries, and brothers; George and Bobby Burton.
