Many years ago, Nate Ligons united himself with Church of God of Detroit, Vermont and Hancock and left a legacy there that will never be forgotten. His impact on the youth and young adults has left an impact that continues up to this present day. During his legacy he was instrumental in forming the ''FAITH INSPIRATIONAL CHOIR" that outreached the whole community in the city of Detroit. The many lives he touched and encouraged have influenced both the National and The Church of Ministries of the Church of God movement. To name a few: Theodore Baker of Anderson University, and Isaac C Turner who pastored churches in the state of Georgia and Michigan. And countless others who would not be where we are had it not been for his spiritual mentoring. RIP Natel, and to Carol, Tony and Nate Jr, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Please accept condolences from Russell and Cheryl Durden of Long Reach Church of God. I got to know Dr. Ligons from attending the Men's Conferences around the country and West Middlesex. He was also the speaker for our Men's weekend many years ago.
