Narvisi Bill Wilkie Jr., of Jackson, Michigan, passed away
January 1, 2024, at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, Jackson, MI
Bill was born May 14, 1943, in Napoleon, MI to Narvisi Wilkie Sr. and Hattie Mae (Wimberly) Wilkie. Bill attended Napoleon schools. Developed great skills while working on the family farm, where he met his lifelong friend Audrous Taylor Sr. Bill was introduced to the trucking industry at a young age by his father. He also had great skills in residential construction, roofing and concrete work. Bill’s profession led him to travel many miles, see many sights and met lifelong friends, including Dave Klien, Bill’s employer.
Bill leaves to cherish his memories, 1 son, Terrace Headen, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 2 Sisters, Josephine Roberts and Isabell Peterson and a Devoted Great-niece Faith Peterson, all of Jackson, MI. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, including 2 nephews who he taught how to drive trucks at an early age, Ollie Wilkie and Edward Robinson.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Narvisi Sr. Wilkie and Hattie Wimberly, 4 sisters Juanita Wilkie, Patsy Robinson, JoAnn Williams and Mae Richardson, 2 brothers, Salsi John Wilkie and Matt Wilkie
