Minnie Lee Belcher's Obituary
Minnie Lee (Harris) Belcher was born January 6, 1925, in Atlanta, Georgia to Albert and Adeline (Gibson) Harris; she was the youngest of two siblings. Minnie Lee was called home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2017.
Minnie Lee was preceded in death by her husband; Calvin Belcher, her parents; Albert and Adeline(Gibson) Harris, siblings; Albert Harris, Jr., Alice (Harris) Little, sons; Donald Belcher, Melvin Belcher and Ronald Belcher, niece; Shirley Little, cousin/sister; Louise Rogers, granddaughters; Denise Cotton and Lena Armstrong, grandson; Ronald Belcher Jr.
Minnie Lee loved spending time with family, she was known as “MeMe” and a mother figure to all. She was a true fashion “Diva” and carried herself well!
Minnie Lee was from a very religious family upon relocating to Jackson, Michigan she utilized her strength to become one of the founders of Lily Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons; Thomas (Ardline) Harris, Jerome (Beverly) Belcher, daughters; Carolyn Armstrong, Betty Rajabian, Annette Belcher, Olivia Belcher, and Letha (James) Summerour, twenty-four grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Thank God for a sharing such a wonderful person with us, “MeMe” will be truly missed by all.
