Melvin Lynn Evans was born January 21, 1957 to Effie Mae
Evans and Charles Edwards, Sr. in Jackson, Michigan. He was
proceeded in death by his mother; Effie Mae Edwards, father; Charles
Edward, Sr., two brothers; Charles G. Edwards and Clyde Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters; Rose Conner, Davada
(Robert) Langston, and Lucille (Michael) Reynolds, one brother;
Jerome Evans, one son; Jamel Langston of Albion, Michigan,
three stepdaughters; Lynea, Sheia, and Keeisha, four aunts; Collett
Bills, Lucille Johnson, Nadine Neely all of Jackson, Michigan, and
Vernita Edwards of Lansing, Michigan, special brothers; Leroy
Young of Newport, Virginia, Ronald Norris of Atlanta, Georgia,
Chuck Cunningham of Lansing, Michigan, Larry Coleman (Nikita)
Anderson, and Keith Arnold all of Jackson, Michigan and a host of
nieces and nephews, cousins, and one grandchild and a very special
friend; Tijuana Houston.
