Mark Richard Union's Obituary
Mark Richard Union was born on October 12, 1963 to the union of Lawrence and Evelyn Union. He was a loving father who entered eternal rest on July 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Union.
Mark attended the Albion public schools and graduated from Albion Senior High, where he earned a certificate of completion from the welding program at the Calhoun County Area Vocational School in Battle Creek, Michigan. He earned his Associates Degree in electrical technology from ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He served his country for three years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He was married to Angela Crenshaw in 1986, and two children were born to this union.
Mark was baptized in Albion, Michigan and was a member of Grace Temple Church of God In Christ. He was known for his kind, caring heart that would help anyone. His friends knew him as “MUDD BONE” and “KPC”, which stood for King Prince of Cool, due to his outstanding swag, as he would say. He was an avid Dominos and Spades card player.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; Evelyn Union, his seven beloved children; Mario Merchant, Renita Craig, Mark Davis, Parris Union, Jordan Union, Ashley Paul, and Jalen Smith, seven grandchildren, two brothers; Larry and Craig Union, his special homeboys from the Albion Senior High School Class of 1981, and a host of other friends and loved ones.
