Marion Yvonne Reddick's Obituary
Marion Yvonne Reddick (Goodall), was born on April 16, 1937 in Jackson, Michigan. Marion was the third born to Lawrence and Dorothy Goodall (Hensley). On Sunday, October 22, 2017 Marion went to be with the lord surrounded by family.
In her youth, she attended church at Second Missionary Baptist church, under Amos Polk" A.P." Williams where she accepted Christ as her Savior. She won yo-yo competitions, and competed in teen modeling photo shoots.
On March 3, 1954, she married David L. Reddick and to that union were born Glenese Wilder, Laresa Jones, Renee Reddick, Randy Reddick Sr., Terry Reddick Sr., and Robin Reddick-Joplin.
In Marion’s early years, she worked at Mechanical Products as a laborer, for 17 years; and retired on January 19, 1996. Marion enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, building, landscaping, doing puzzles, playing cards, watching the news, and anything ‘Obama’.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence Goodall and Dorothy Goodall- Saxton, Husband; David Reddick, Daughter; Renee Reddick, Sisters; Mildred and Carol Goodall, Brothers; James Goodall and Henry Saxton, her favorite Aunt; Vivadean Greene, and a Son-In-Law Vincent Joplin Sr.
She leaves to mourn her death, but celebrate her life, her children; Glenese Wilder, Laresa Jones, Randy Reddick Sr., Terry Reddick Sr., and Robin Reddick-Joplin, Grandchildren; Yvonne Jones, Shalonda Jones, Randy Reddick II, Terry Reddick, Erica(Emanuel)Parker, Tyrone Parker II, Lawrence Walker Jr., Martel Reddick, Lakisha Walker, Monique Williams, David Overall, Donovan Overall, Vincent Joplin II, and Shirterra Reddick, Great-Grandchildren: Antwuan, Shaquan, Shacara, Ronesha, Zaithon, Jalen, Taijon, Devieon, Randy III, Zahir, Emeka, Azhar, Za’Ariah, ZaMarion, Za’Kiya, Davion, Trenton, Aniya, Tyanna, Chaise, Meanna, Miata, Donovan Jr. and Lynia, Great-Great Grand Children: Ashton, Aiden, Amaya, Adrielle, and Lyrica. In Addition, she leaves, her Sister- In- Law; Catherine Copeland, cousin; Alvin Greene, Special friends; Billy Pierce Sr., Rev. Billy Pierce Jr, James and Janice Fairley, Vanessa Williams, John Barber, Paula Baynes-Langston, and a host of other family members.
