You will truly be missed. I will never forget all the times you called me to check on me. I will never forget you pushing me to go to college and to follow my dreams. You were always proud of me and the woman I’ve become and it definitely showed. You genuinely cared about us. I still have all of your birthday cards you sent me. I will cherish them forever. Along with all the fond memories. I love you!
Godmom Jeffers was a phenomenal woman of God. She always made sure to remind me of the greatness within myself and that I was loved. She encouraged me from the tender age of six up until twenty-five. Those memories will live with my sister's and I forever. You will be greatly missed Godmom.

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you across the water as you lay Marion to her well deserved rest for all of her contributions she made in that part of GOD’S earth. Marion -- 10/03/2021
She came from Bermuda
to lend US a hand—
finding a career and purpose
in a foreign land!
Her compassion for people
shown forth as a nurse—
as she lessened our sufferings
and helped heal our hurts!
Children she loved
and with wisdom and knowledge,
she applied her skill set
to help send them to college!
When money was tight
and dollars would slip
she urged young students
to apply for scholarships!
Care packages were sent
to the kids at school—
that provided body and soul
with love and fuel!
Youth retreats for her
were a great joy!
Her time and money were present
to assist our girls and boys!
But then one day
as it always does,
time ran out and
she no longer was!
She built upon
what others started,
and now from us
she has departed!
Southwestern Church of God
will carry on—
but it won’t be the same
without Marion!
Her heart of love
will always be,
the cornerstone
of her legacy!
