Sister Cross later moved her membership to Omega Temple under the late Pastor Herman Cross and the late Pastor C. Arthur Crenshaw. She then moved her membership back to Bethlehem Temple under the leadership of the late Bishop Archie Eggleton, Sr. and currently under Pastor Diallo Glass. Sister Cross was dedicated to picking up children for Sunday School and she loved teaching them. She was also a member of the Southeast Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Association of Michigan. Her dedication and faith in the Lord was unstoppable. Even in her last days she rejoiced and kept faith. The prayers that she prayed over her family has gotten us all through many hard times.
Even in Mable’s last days she still wanted to take care of children which was one of her favorite things to do. She was well known in our community for giving a helping hand to anyone who was in need. She will always be remembered for her kind and giving heart as well as her beautiful soul.
