Lucille Taylor's Obituary
Lucille Taylor was affectionately known to family and friends as “Ludy”. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Clyde Hawkins Taylor and Lucy Mae Weaver on August 14, 1952. Memphis is where she attended school and spent her early childhood.
As a vibrant young adult, Lucille met Marshall Willingham and that union produced three wonderful sons who she found joy in parenting. Lucille dedicated her life to her family, and when she wasn’t doting on every new addition to the family, she enjoyed needlework crafts, puzzles and art. She was a unique individual with a huge heart, and a style all her own!
She was preceded in death by her brother; Mark Taylor, and sisters; Yvonne and Shirley Taylor.
On Saturday, March 18, 2023, God tapped Lucille on her shoulders and escorted her home. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Marcus and Marco Willingham, her daughter; Robin Taylor (Mark’s wife), her stepmother; Gladys Taylor, sisters; Ruth Yearell, Elizabeth Taylor, and brother; Claude Taylor. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren; Jonathan, DeMarco, Markasha, Marcus Jr., Marquita, Jamicia, DiMitri, JaMarco, Joshua, Deon, Brian, Justin, Ryan, Maleaha, Ainasia, Mason, Marco, Asma and Mark, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and countless other family members and friends.
