Lorenzo Darrell Scott's Obituary
Lorenzo D. Scott, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, was born on January 27, 1968, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Robert and Pearley Scott. At the age of five, Lorenzo and his family
relocated to Jackson, Michigan, where he attended Jackson Public Schools and graduated from Jackson High School in 1986.
Following high school, Lorenzo attended Ferris State College. He proudly served his country in the United States Military and was a
veteran of Operation Desert Storm in 1991. After his Military
Service, Lorenzo worked in various fields and eventually retired as both a respected machinist and a proud veteran.
Lorenzo was preceded in death by his father, Robert Scott, in 2019. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Pearley Scott of New Jersey; his siblings, Robert Scott Jr. (Doreen), Andrea Scott of New Jersey; Timothy Scott (Melissa) of Philadelphia, PA, and Yolanda Scott of New Jersey; and his two daughters, Ateja and Dijiana, both of
Detroit, Michigan. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Renzo, as he was affectionately known, will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and the unwavering love he had for his family. A great man and a cherished soul, he was truly a beloved
brother, son, and father.
We will all be sure to carry his memory with us—
Forever in Our Hearts.
