Lisa Marie Hicks was born August 10, 1965 to Cleopatra Hicks and Herbert Tipton, Jr. Lisa departed this life on April 22, 2021.
Lisa attended Jackson Public Schools. She worked at Michigan Seat and Parkside of Middle School as a Kitchen aide.
To know Lisa was to Love Lisa. She was fun to be around. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially her Children, but her Grandchildren were the JOY of her heart. She loved cooking, reading and listening to music.Those that really knew Lisa knew she didn’t have a problem telling you what she thought and what was on her mind. LOL!
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents M.B Hicks, Sr. and Viola Hicks; Mrs. Mildred White and Herbert Tipton, Sr.; special Nephew Derryl “Peewee” Hunt, Rosetta “aunt squeaky” Harrell, Gracie “aunt too sweet” Dentmond and Arzelle “aunt pookie” Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother; Cleopatra Hicks, four children; Portia Ryan, Milton Ryan, Jr., Synita Ryan, and Raini Ryan all of Jackson, Michigan, grandchildren; Na’Ciear, Mark, Lamont, Zy’Devion, A’Zarianna, Tre’Vion, Zaniah, Malachi, Zarion, Asanti, Golden V, and DaVontae, four sisters; Cynthia (Barry) White, Anita Hicks of Roswell, Georgia, Ingrid Smith of Albion, Michigan and Lynette Hunt, two brothers; Brian Hicks San Diego, California and Jason (Alicia) Gibson, aunts; Willie Mae “Puddin” Dunlap, Lucille “Lucy” Shelmon, Altha “Babysitter” Pickett, Vivian ‘Viv” Hicks and special aunt Melba “Cookie” Hicks, uncle; Melvin (Joyce) Hicks., special; Sonya Alexander, Terry Williams and Eric “Dr. John” Gray, special friends; Cassandra Galloway and Devada Edwards, and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
