Linda Sue Wilson's Obituary
Linda Sue Holmes-Wilson was a caring Mother, Grandmother
and Friend. She was born May 27, 1959 in Albion, Michigan to the late, Willie
and Elizabeth Holmes. She transitioned from this life on March 26, 2021 after a
courageous battle with her health.
Linda attended Albion Public Schools then went on to work for McGraw Edison,
Albion Public Schools as a lunch Aide, and The Lear Corporation as a Machine
Operator.
In her later years, she rededicated her life to Christ and joined Redeemed
Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Hendon.
Linda loved to laugh and have a good time. She also, loved shopping, cooking
and spending time with her family and close friends. Linda’s love and affection
for children was known to everyone. She was often seen around town with one,
or more, of her “special babies”. Her cheerful attitude and her contagious smile
will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death, by both of her parents, and grandparents, a brother;
Oscar Harris, and a very special son; Lonelle Langston, whom she loved very
much. Linda affectionately helped to raise Lonelle and they had an immensely
close bond. We believe that he was waiting at the gate for her to arrive, with his
arms open wide, just happy to see her, and to hug her once again.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter; Nicia Holmes of Albion,
Michigan, two sons; Charles Holmes “Stank”, and Sentelle “Pree” (Edshuna)
Holmes both of Albion, ten grandchildren; Shammond, Shuntelle, Devin,
Zakiyah, and Milan Holmes, Jakale Artis, Tai’ryn Dixson, Azayliah Weatherall,
Nauvion Burnette, and Nauzhae Glasper, a sister in-law; Sharon Harris of
Albion, Michigan, three god children; Brittany Taylor, Joesia Brown, and
Demario Phifer, two special friends; Roslyn Sanders and Shanda Couvillion Aerts, and a host of family and friends.
