Linda Lou Davis' Obituary
Linda Lou Davis of Jackson, Michigan went to be with the Lord the morning of September 29th, 2019 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 68. Linda was born to Allen and Florence Whitcomb in 1951. Linda spent most of her childhood “playing on the farm and getting into mischief.” She acquired her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts but learned she had a passion caring for the elderly, so she obtained a position as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in this field for many years. After retirement, Linda enjoyed going to the Crouch Center, being with her friends, painting, playing Bingo, and attending dances. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Missionary Church, attending faithfully every Sunday as well as any fellowship events. Linda loved engaging in conversation and prayer with her special friend, Yonnie Fowler. Linda is survived by three daughters; Lynna Eubanks (Donall Eubanks), Elyia Lamb, Torrie Vanfleet (Joseph VanFleet), stepchildren; Kim Davis, Benny Davis (Duwan Davis), Quintin Davis, Dexter Davis (Vanessa Davis) and a host of grandchildren, a sister; Laurel Eding and brothers; Brian Whitcomb, and Bruce Whitcomb. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Florence Cochran and Allen Whitcomb, her daughter; Nicolle Louise Davis, sister; Cindy Zamora, and stepdaughter; Debra Nelson.
