Leroy Johnson's Obituary
Leroy “Butch” Johnson was born August 20, 1945, to Wade and Lula Johnson in Jackson Michigan both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his siblings; Robert Johnson, Dorothy (Samuel) Williams, Nancy (Robert) White, Ora Bell Sudduth, nephew; Victor Sudduth, and granddaughter; Lena Armstrong.
Known to most as Butch, he wore various hats. He was an army veteran. He worked over 20 years for the Michigan Department of Corrections. He was also a successful entrepreneur both in Michigan and California.
An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching all sports live or televised. More than sports he loved lively conversations and sharing life stories. But his most cherished activity was spending time with his family.
A father, brother, uncle, son, and grandfather, he leaves to cherish him three children; Precios (Ronald) Armstrong, Yancy (Rosene) Johnson, and Aprell Johnson, grandchild; Ronald Armstrong III, one brother; Wade(Lottie) Johnson, a host of nieces, nephews, and family/friends.A Christian, he loved the Lord. On March 26, 2018, he was made safe and whole in HIS arms.
