Lena Dior Armstrong's Obituary
Lena Dior Armstrong was born August 31, 2015 to her proud and loving parents, Ronald “Mooby” and Precios Armstrong. Lena was lovingly known as her mother’s, “Chocolate Drop” and her daddy’s “lil lady”, she was a true fighter and the ultimate champion of spreading joy to anyone that was connected to her story.
For four months the world changed as Lena, our, “Gift of Light” showed us the importance of love, family, and friendship. We watched her grow, prayed her through, cheered her success, and now mourn our sweet little girl. Baby Armstrong, spent her days between Sparrow Hospital NICU and University of Michigan Children’s NICU with her parents by her side pressing forward and fighting the good fight. On December 31, 2015 it was time for Lena to go back to her heavenly home. She was surrounded by love and amazing peace.
She leaves behind to continue the journey of love, her loving parents, brother; Ronald, sister; Kayla, grandparents; Dorothy Johnson, Leroy “Butch” Johnson, Carolyn Armstrong, and Ronald Armstrong, Sr., great grand parent; Lena Reynolds, aunts; Aprell Johnson, Tonia (Deshawn) White, and Melissa Armstrong, uncles; Yancy (Rosene) Johnson, and Daryl Belcher.
