LC Jiles' Obituary
LC Jiles was born on December 24, 1950, to the late Lueciel Morgan and J.D.Jiles in Brundidge, Alabama. He found true love and married Delores Edwards on September 16, 1972. He gained his wings on May 2, 2026.
LC proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He later, worked 25 years with Eaton-Aeroquip Corp before retiring. He was a faithful member of Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church, where he served on several committees. The outreach committee was his favorite.
LC enjoyed listening to music. He also enjoyed playing the drums and would fill in when necessary, during church service. Growing up, his brothers and sister would play music in their basement for hours and they called themselves the "Basement Bunch". He also enjoyed watching sports. He was known for his calm demeanor and infectious smile.
LC accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior many years ago under the leadership of Emeritus Pastor Walter T. Pryor.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Jiles, parents; Luceille Morgan and J.D. Jiles, stepfather: William Lee Curry, Sr.; sisters; Willa jiles-Harrison and Minnie Jiles-Williams; brothers; Willie and James Jiles; brother-in-law: Robert Murry and great grandson; Tristan Glaspie.
He leaves to celebrate his precious memories: two children: Michael (Delisa) Edwards and Michelle Edwards, four grandchildren: Michael Edwards ]r., Brianna "Booder" Worthey, Diaja "Peanut" Edwards and Joshua Williams, three great grandchildren; Michael Edwards III, Kayonna Williams and Demi Kebler; three brothers, William Curry, Larry Curry and Alvin Curry; four sisters-in-law; Dee Curry, Claudine Jiles, Teresa Jiles and Pearl Murry and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
