Larrien “Donnie” Glaspie departed from this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was born on December 7, 1953 to Desiree Brewer and Harold Glaspie.
He went to Parkside High School where he was truly liked. Donnie was a well-rounded guy and the true definition of a gentleman.
Donnie had a unique bond with his loving big sister, Anita, who he lovingly called "Cookie"; not only were they brother and sister, they were also best friends. He spent most of his time with her and his brother-in-law, Randy Lee Reddick; they were an inseparable trio! He had an exceptional love for Anita's children, Nicole, Nisha, and Andre, and viewed them as his own.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother; Michael Parker.
Donnie leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Desiree (Johnny) Brewer and Harold Glaspie, his dearest sister; Anita (Randy Reddick) Glaspie, his other siblings; Pam, Marie, Erick, Mario, Sonny, and Terry Parker, two special brothers; Wallace Mahoney and Stephen Glaspie, two nieces; Nicole and Nisha Glaspie, and one nephew; Andre Glaspie. He was also loved by all of his great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
