Juanice Hall's Obituary
Juanice Hall was born the second child of 8, to the union of Rosa Beasley and Eugene Cain on August 7, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
As a child, she would pick cotton in the fields. Juanice enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, canning, sewing and cake decorating.
At the tender age of 16, she fell in love with Afford Hall, and they wed on January 31, 1953 in New Madrid, Missouri. Eleven children were born to this matrimony of 64 years.
Over the years, Juanice was employed with Rising Hayes, ITT Hancock and Yardman.
Juanice was a faithful church goer, but around 1976, after hearing the truth of the word, and confirmation from God, she took her stand with the Church of God under the pastorate of Frank Hampton, Jr. Many test and trials came her way to deter her from her stand, but she remained true to God. Juanice will be remembered amongst the saints as a quiet sister who made an amazing caramel cake and peach cobbler. She was a sister who stood through unimaginable devastation with the help of God. She often wondered, am I human to go through these things and not feel the anguish of them in greater measures. Sister Hall supported the sick and shut in through prayer and fasting and was often found at their bedside. Her greatest desire was to see all her family saved. She set aside three days of fasting every week, and would stay up on Wednesday nights until midnight praying for salvation for her family.
Tired and worn, on May 8, she gently put down her cross and was welcomed into the arms of her Savior.
Juanice was preceded in death by her parents Rosa and Eugene Cain, her husband: Afford Hall, sons: David and Dennis Hall, grandchildren: Shrae Monique Hall, Jamar Akines, and Chris Hall, brothers: Albert Lee, Robert, and Julius Cain, sisters: Angelean Hunt and Helen Eison, daughter in law: Lorna Hall, son in laws: Robert Graham and Michael Mcclelland.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Betty (Jack) Norris, Patricia Graham, Adella Mcclelland, Floyd Hall, Alfred Hall, Juandray (Diane) Hall, Sara Hall, Douglas (Cynthia) Hall, Tajwana (Jay) Sanders, 42 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, sister: Rosemary Reed, brother: James Hall, and a host of nieces and nephews, god-daughters: Fhilipa Eison and Maria (Peppie) Nickles, special friends: Deanna Bradshaw and Betty Tucker.
