To The Family and Friends of Ms. Josephine Thornton, sending sincere sympathy to all who knew and loved her. I met Ms. Jo in April 2009, a new employee at Foote Hospital working in the dietary department. She was such a very kind and soft spoken lady. I found much pleasure in our conversations which included an invitation to visit Second Baptist Church. She was loved in the dietary department and was an excellent cook. We were sad when she retired and sadness has come again as the news of her passing spread through out the department. She loved the Lord and now she is resting comfortably in His arms. The pain of losing someone special seems to never cease, but with the help of GOD and praying everyday it will get better. I'm speaking from experience, it won't go away but you'll be able think of those precious memories and a smile will make you feel better. As long as you have memories she will forever be with you all. GOD's blessings to each of you.

To the Family of Sister Thornton, I light this candle in her Precious Memory. May her sweet spirit now Rest in Glory with her Savior. She fought a long time, kept her faith and can now receive her Crown. She has been set free from all the pain and troubles of this world. Grief has entered in, and the tears have fallen, but know this one thing, Jesus will wipe away your tears, and you will find peace and joy in the morning. As you gather not to say good-bye, but to rejoice and celebrate a life well lived, because another soldier has made it in.
