Joseph Willie Neal, Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Willie Neal, Jr., was born in Washington, Maryland on October 18, 1940 to the late Joseph Willie Neal, Sr. and
Mary Elizabeth Neal. He was the third oldest of twelve siblings. Joseph was baptized into the Catholic Faith at an early age. He was educated at Prince George County Schools in Maryland.
Joseph served in the United States Air Force from December,
1960 to December, 1964; after his discharge Joseph relocated to Detroit,Michigan. While in the military he met and married the late Rosie Johnson, to this union three children were born; Cynthia, Sherri, and Joseph, III, and he gained five additional children; Carolyn Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Larmetta Lee, Lionel Johnson, and Darryl Johnson. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement in 1995.
Joseph enjoyed his life tremendously living every minute to the
fullest. He loved bowling, for years Joseph played on leagues and won several trophies playing in tournaments. His favorite past time was playing cards with family and friends.
God called Joseph home on July 27, 2016. His family and friends
mourn his passing and their hearts are filled with sorrow, a void that only his precious memories will fill.

Cynthia “Joyce” Neal, Sherri Neal-Sartors (James), and Joseph Willie Neal, III (Valencia), two sisters; Shirley “Lanie” Proctor (Robert), Mary Gaston, nine brothers; Willis “Jimmy” Neal, Sr. (Shirley), James “Wendell” Neal, Sr., David Neal, Sr. (Sharon), Ronald Neal (Margaret), Phillip Neal (Evelyn), Mark Neal, Sr., (Jennifer), Peter Neal (Virginia), Dennis “Darnell” Neal, Sr. (Jacky), and Robert Neal, Sr. (Kia), five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.
