John Henry Robinson Sr. was born on January 1,1923 in Oakdale Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Robinson. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty five years Ernestine Robinson. He also is preceded in death by a daughter Carlotta Robinson,& two sisters; Cora Mae and Annie V and a brother; Mr. Willie B Robinson.
John Served in the United States Military for 3 years, which included service during World War II. He worked at Wilson Brothers for twenty seven years as well as Burger Chef.
He was a devoted father of ten children; Renne Stephens, Ronnie Robinson Sr., Stanley Robinson, Kenneth (Chris) Robinson, Jacqueline (John) Barber, John Jr. of Olympia, Washington, Teresa Smith, Angela (John) Watkins, Gloria Washington, and Ishmond Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memories 2 sisters Mrs. Sarah Alexander, Mrs. Gaynelle Evens, and 3 brothers Mr. Oscar (Helen) Robinson, Mr. Elijah (Beatrice) Robinson of Atlanta Georgia, and Mr. Clarence (Mattie) Robinson of College Park Georgia. He also leaves 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of family members and friends.
