Joan Brown's Obituary
JOAN PATTERSON, LOULAR, BROWN was born on September 18, 1933 to the late Inez Young and Parnell J. Patterson in Henderson, Tennessee. She went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2022. Joan was preceded in death by her husband; James Brown, daughter; Louise Loular and son; Albert (Billy) Ray Patterson (Juanita).
Through the union with Charles Loular eight children were born.
Joan was a faithful member of Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church. She was extremely committed to her assignment as president of the Usher Board. She was dedicated and always willing to help out in any capacity she could. She also sang in the Choir. She enjoyed Basketball as an avid Labron James fan. She enjoyed watching soap operas. Joan enjoyed gospel, hymns, and praise and worship music. Her favorite hymns were “I Shall Wear a Crown”, “He Will Welcome Me Home” and “Precious Lord”.
She leaves to celebrate her precious memories devoted sons; Ivan Loular (Juanita), Robert Loular, Raymond Loular, Edward Loular and Carlos Brown, two devoted daughters; Annette Potts (Michael) and Gloria Kienutske (Lonny-dec.), grandchildren, Aaron Loular, Ivan Loular II, Kimberly Loular, Maceo Loular, Michele Stafford, Melissa Guinn, Martia Metcalf (Colin), Janaya Loular, Bianca Patterson, LaKeshia Riley (Shawn), Jacey Loular, and Danielle Smoots, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, one brother; Charles J. Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
