James ( Wolfman) Robert Palmer Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. James Robert Palmer, Sr. (Wolf Man) was born January 1, 1939 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Eli and Gussie Palmer. James lived in Jackson where he met and married Cynthia (Dixon) Palmer and had three children.
Mr. Palmer worked at Pioneer Foundry on Water Street; he also worked construction in his early years. Mr. Palmer then moved to Flint, Michigan where he met and married Sara (Montecinos) Palmer and had two children. Mr. Palmer worked for General motors until he retired after 40 plus years of service. Mr. Palmer married Charlene (Sutherland) Palmer in 1983 and had two more children. Mr. Palmer lived a full life and loved to PARTY, fish, hunt, travel and garden. Mr. Palmer loved family and spending time with his loved ones. He also had a thang for beautiful women.
Mr. Palmer leaves to cherish his memory a son; James Palmer, II of Minnesota, five daughters; Debra (John Jr.) Glaspie of Jackson, Sonya Palmer of Lansing, Kizzy Palmer of Lansing, Katrinia Palmer of Lansing, and India (William) Palmer of Lansing, thirteen grandchildren; James III (Sarah) Palmer of Jackson, John I (Hailey) Glaspie of Jackson, Deja Palmer and Christopher Allen of Lansing, Kasy and Davis Robinson of Lansing, Domonique Rice and Maliek Palmer of Lansing, and Romero, Alyndia, A’Rayna, Asia’Le all of Lansing; eleven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends; Daryl Dungy, Clee Hodges, and Glen Dixon.
Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by both parents, his daughter; Marsha Palmer, brother; Jack Massengale, sisters; Rebecca (George) Jones, and Charlene (Leon) Winborn.
