James Cleothus Funderburg's Obituary
James Clothus Funderburg was born on November 10, 1981 in Detroit Michigan to Joyce A Falls (Funderburg) and James E. Funderburg. James was educated in the Detroit Public School System. He graduated from Finney High School in 1999. He was an overachiever and excelled in everything he put his mind to which lead to many achievements, including real estate investments, and entrepreneurship.
James was a family oriented person who always put his family first. He was very dedicated to his loved ones. He would move mountains for his children; Marcellus, Jaylin, and Makenzi. He was always joyful playful and full of life. His family would always look to him for comfort, strength and advice. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and accomplishing his goals. Recently, James had changed his life around and was eagerly looking towards the future; he had plans on making a lot of money, moving into a big house and raising his children.
On January 9, 2016 James went on to glory to rejoice with is beloved mother Joyce Ann Funderburg, his aunt Elaine Andrea Kidd, and his two brothers Derick and Cedrick Funderburg.
His leaves to cherish the treasured memories, the love of his life, Marchelle Montgomery, his sons; Marcellus Montgomery and Jaylen Funderburg, daughter; Makenzi Funderburg, father; James Funderburg, three sisters; Janee’ Funderburg, Jessica Funderburg, and Jacqueline Funderburg, aunts; Josephine Woods (Alonzo) Rose Henry and uncles; Alvin Falls, Mostofer Dade (Sonya), Arthur Woodgett, Booker Hearing, Willie Funderburg, and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends.
