James will be missed dearly! He was like an uncle to me growing up. He was great friends with my dad, Ellis Roger Walker, (CB name Yellow Butterfly) back in the day. I also had the pleasure of working with James at Alro Steel for many years before he retired. R.I.P!

Sending my prayers and condolences to the family of James fairly I've been friends with him and Janice for over several years we all talked on the CB radio I started in 1977 and they called me Joyrider.and we all stayed friends, I saw lady pain killer at some of her church dinner that she invited me and my mom to, but I didn't get to see dr.mean pill 💊. To My CB Daddy James Fairley AKA Mr. Mean Pill,
I was 20years old when I first talked to Mean Pill on 27.0250 and for some strange reason he took a liking to me. When I started building ampsI didn't have access to parts etc. and without ever meeting me yet. He called me, we talked over an hour (this was when you had to pay for long distance calls too). I told him I was building my first big amp and I was using scrap parts but, I had to wait to get a blocking cap. Less than two months later I met Mean Pill and Lady Pain Killer a break and Mean Pill gave me a massive blocking cap that that I kept it to this day! James definitely married the right woman! She was so sweet! They will both be missed but, they are together forever now.
