Jamaal A. Ramsey was born in Jackson Michigan, to Artesha Ramsey and Leroy Walker on February 7, 1990. Jamaal was educated in the Jackson Public School System, attending Wilson, Frost, and Parkside before attending T.A. Wilson where he graduated from in 2009. Jamaal was extremely charming and loveable he loved sports and loved to play basketball, he also loved his loud music. His smile and energy would brighten up a room instantly. Jamaal was extremely talented and will be truly missed.
Jamaal departed life July 1, 2017 at the age 27.
Jamaal was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. L.J. (Ora Mae) Griffin, grandfather; Stephen Ramsey and great uncle; David Gutierrez, and a host of other great aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Jamaal leaves to cherish his memories his mother; Artesha Ramsey, father; Leroy Walker, one brother; DeWayne (Brittany) Walker-Ramsey, one sister; Latoya (Jeff) Walker-Ramsey, four nephews; Makii Kelley, DeWayne Walker-Ramsey Jr., DeArrias Walker-Ramsey and LJ Thigpen, one niece; Jamiah Mask, grandparents; Mrs. Gladys Ramsey of Jackson and Celia (Raymond) Payne of Jackson, special friends; Derrick Morgan, Andre “Bubby” Welch and Antwuan Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
