Izora Beatrice Conner's Obituary
Izora Beatrice Conner, “Dosh” departed this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in the peace and comfort of her son's home. Izora B. Conner was born November 6, 1923 in McCraken County, Kentucky. She was the youngest daughter of seven children. She married Noble Conner, Sr., December 26, 1941 they had sixty years of togetherness before his death. To this union she was blessed with nine children.
During her early childhood, she was a very sickly child, most of the time unable to attend school, only completing elementary. She overcame the sickness in her teens and became a good strong worker. Izora was a person who never complained, she was a silent suffer. She loved children, color was no issue to her, to her they were peaches and so sweet and cute. She was an immaculate house keeper. She believed and carried out what the bible said in Titus 2:5 "Chase keepers at home". Her life was devoted to her husband and children. She would always say, "raising a child is a job and it is your job". She was a long time member of Lilly Baptist Church and also served on the user board until her illness.
Izora was preceded in death by her parents; William and Flora Johnson, husband; Noble Conner, Sr. and son; Noble Conner, Jr. She is survived by her children; Robert Conner, Deanna (Whitfield) Hunt, Dennis Conner, Joyce (David) Thompson, and Gary Conner all of Jackson, Michigan, Marvin (Audrey) Conner, Brenda Conner, Bruce Conner of Cleveland, Tennessee, two brothers; William Johnson of Clarksville Tennessee and Martin Johnson of Hopskinsville, Kentucky, twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephew, relatives and friends
