Helen Ava Norris' Obituary
Helen Ava Norris, age 70, of Jackson passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Henry Ford Allegiance in the care of Hospice Jackson, Michigan. Helen was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 2, 1949, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Beulah (Isaac) Norris. She attended Jackson Public Schools and earned an Associate’s Degree from Jackson Community College in Administration. She enjoyed reading, researching family genealogy, playing bingo, and playing games on her tablet. Most of all, she treasured time with family. Helen proudly lived independently. Her laugh was heartwarming, and she loved a good conversation. Helen was preceded in death by her siblings; Alice Norris 1954, Betty Smith 1992, Beulah Caldwell 2010, Lester Norris 2010, and Ernst Norris 2018. She is survived by her children; Marcus (Dawn) Norris, Nathan Norris and Andre Norris, 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, siblings; Larry Norris, Gerald (Janice) Norris, and Jack (Betty) Norris. Helen was highly adored by family, in-laws, and friends.
