Haywood (Butch) Payne Jr. was called home by our Lord on January 18, 2019. He was born December 3, 1957, in Jackson, Michigan, to Haywood and Vivian (Johnson) Payne. He was preceded in death by his father; Haywood Payne, Sr. He attended Jackson High School where he set several athletic records. In his spare time he continued to play Baseball and enjoyed D. Jing around Jackson. He had a natural way of making you laugh (everyone). He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons; Derrick (Margaret) Moss of Gainesville, Florida, and Terrance (Jacqueline) Payne of Jackson, Michigan, one daughter; Ashley (Mario) Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee, his mother; Vivian Payne, two sisters; Jacqueline (Mark) Arnold, and Rita (Charles) Buckner, his brother; Charles Payne, Sr. all of Jackson, Michigan, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a special friend; Minister Lee Joplin.
