Harold Eugene Malone's Obituary
Harold Eugene Malone "Sonny" received his wings to Eternity on March 1, 2018. He had fought the good fight.
He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1968. He also graduated from Lakeland College and Eastern Michigan University.
He taught for over 37 years for Jackson Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by both parents; Harold and Julia Malone, Paternal grandparents; Major and Della Malone, and Maternal grandparents; Robert and Minnie Crooms.
He leaves to cherish his memory one beloved son; Philip Malone (Holly) and three granddaughters; Shelby Hager, Rylie LePeak, and the LOVE OF HIS LIFE; Ella Malone.
He is survived by three sisters; Dr. Shalaine Billups (Wesley) of Yorktown, Virginia, Barbara Hemphill of Jackson, Michigan, and Patricia Hull (Spencer) of Gary, Indiana, two brothers; Robert Charles Crooms of Chicago, Illinois and Kenneth Malone (Sheryl) of Gary, Indiana.
He is also survived by seven nieces and three nephews, a host of cousins and friends, a special son; Romun Stitts, special friends; Garrett Reddick, Dorothy Johnson, and Bobby Clayton, and a special niece; LaTonia Hemphill, who was also his loyal caregiver.
