Gregory Williams' Obituary
Gregory Williams (Pokey) 61, was born July 9, 1959. He was one of eleven children born to Bennie Williams Sr., and the late Juanita Williams in Jackson, Michigan. He was a devoted Michigan Wolverine fan. He graduated from Parkside High School in 1977 and attended Spring Arbor College where he received a degree in Precision Tool and Die.
Gregory passed away April 24, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Juanita Williams, two brother’s; Timothy Williams, Sr., and Melvin Williams, four nephews; Derick Williams, Melvin Williams, Kordell Brozozowski, and London Brozozowski.
He will forever be remembered by his loving father; Bennie Williams, Sr., two brother’s; Bennie, Jr. (Sharon) Williams and Michael (Nichelle) Williams, five sisters; Kittie Mae Harden, Barbara (Johnnie) Love, Bonita (the late Kenneth) Foster-Bey, Jamie Williams, and Rosemary Williams, and Lisa Williams (wife of the late Timothy Williams, Sr.), and a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish his life-long companion Andrea Davis (Minnie).
