Glywn Carlton Daniels, Sr.'s Obituary
Glynn C. Daniels, Sr. was born April 28, 1965. In Detroit
Michigan to Sherlena and Bobby Perry, Sr. Glynn attended Detroit Public
Schools where he graduated from South Eastern High School June of 1983.
Glynn then attended college where he received his degree in computer
technology. Later in life Glynn meet the love of his life SHAYTONA “Tonya”.
During their marriage they had 7 children; Glynn Jr, Ebony, Travoughn Sr,
Dev’ron, Brian, Brandan and Destiny.
Family and friends called him “Sparky”. Glynn loved cooking smoking and
spending time with family and friends; but most of all spending time with his
children and grandchildren.
Glynn worked for Port Atwater Parking Garage for 9 years. Glynn then worked
for Payne’s landscaping for 6 years until he retired from working. Glynn made
his transition, April 26, 2020 At St. John Hospital.
Glynn was preceded in death by his wife; Shaytona Daniels, father; Bobby
Perry Sr., grandmother; Lily Brown, grandfather; James Daniels.
He leaves to cherish, his mother; Sherlena Perry, seven children; Glynn Jr.,
Ebony, Travoughn Sr., Dev’Ron, Brian, Brandan and Destiny, two sisters; Mia
and Joyce, two brothers; Anthony and Bobby Perry Jr, A.K.A Fatboy, two sisterin-
laws; Rochella and Lillian , one brother-in-law; Coe, six grandchildren;
Logan, Travoughn Jr., Ryan, Madison, Hunter, and Promise, one godson;
Dontez Ebony Mate (Jardal), three uncles; Jack, Tyrone and Herman, two
aunties; Rose Smith and Rose Perry, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
