Georgia Mae (Griffin) Robinson was born September 22, 1948 to K.T. Lee Sr. and Rosa Lee in Pelham, Georgia. At a young age Georgia and her family moved to Jackson, Michigan. As an adult Georgia worked for Foote Hospital, now Henry Ford Allegiance Health, as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 42 years until her retirement in 2010.
Georgia loved spending time with her mother, talking on the phone, knitting, reading and spending time with her loving family.
Georgia departed from this life suddenly on October 18, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father; Mr. K.T. Lee Sr. and brother; Mr. Emmett Lee.
She is survived by her only child, daughter; Lynnette (Aaron) Lewis , her mother; Mrs. Rosa Lee, three granddaughters; Keyanna Anderson, and Kanisha and Jazmen Shavers, one grandson; Aaron Lewis, Jr., one great-grandson; Kaiden Robinson, all of Jackson, Michigan, one sister; Annie Lee, and seven brothers; K.T (Susan) Lee, Jack (Pamela) Lee, Frank Lee, and Bobby Lee, all also of Jackson, Michigan; William Lee, of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Terry and Andrew Lee, both of Atlanta, Georgia. In addition she also leaves an exceptional true and loving cousin, who is more like a brother; John Griffin of Jackson, Michigan. She also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephew, cousins, friends and special people in her life.
