When Mother Geneva Johnson came to Jackson, Michigan. She placed her membership at The Bethesda Church of God in Christ 309 E. Wilkins Street Jackson, Michigan. As The Church of God in Christ moved it's location to 1500 Merriman Street Jackson, Michigan, Mother Johnson continued to serve faithfully. She served Pastor L.H. Jefferson and Pastor Henry E. Lyons. They both served as District Supt. for The Church of God in Christ. She remained loyal to The Church until her husband began a new work and ministry at 265 E. South Street Jackson, Michigan 49203. Mother Geneva M. Johnson was loyal to The Church of God in Christ all of her life. May she rest in peace and her wonderful spirit live in our hearts till we all Stand before our Lord and King.
